Dental treatment in the UK is expensive - we dispel the myths

Quite a few people choose not to have their teeth treated in the UK because of the high cost. However, is this true?

In part. Of course, in smaller Polish cities, prices in dental practices are lower. However, in large agglomerations they are already very similar. For example, the price of a full acrylic denture in Gdańsk ranges from PLN 1,600 to PLN 2,800, in Warsaw from PLN 2,000 to PLN 3,400. To this must be added the cost of flights.

Of course, quite a few people who get treatment in Poland do so when visiting relatives. Thus, they do not spend extra money just to fly to take care of healthy teeth. However, if the treatment is long-lasting and requires frequent visits, the profitability of taking care of teeth in Poland decreases.

In addition, in the event of complications, there is the problem of rapid access to the treating doctor. This is extremely important especially for orthodontic treatment. Most surgeries do not undertake the continuation of treatment started elsewhere.

The image shows a schematic diagram of the anatomy of teeth with captions of their types. The diagram shows metal dental instruments, probably a dental mirror and probe, lying on a sheet with the diagram.

Whatever the situation, many people still do not get their teeth treated, neither in Poland nor in the UK. The reason is the aforementioned costs. Therefore, in our practice, patients can take advantage of the instalment system for dental treatment, but more about that below.

You don't have to believe us - check it out for yourself

One of our patients saved £3,800 as a result. Impossible! In the Polish practice, the treatment plan, which included root canal treatment, fillings, crowns, was £28,000. Our cost estimate (based on the Polish plan) was £1730.
